Hull
Fiberglass with built in ballast. Full length keel with skeg under propeller. Hull is very strong and easily driven. Burns less than one gallon per hour at cruising speed of approximately 6 knots.
Engine:
Perkins 4-107 Original. Rebuilt 1984 Has about 3000 hours on it. Remote oil filter and oil cooler. Electric oil change pump. Fresh water cooled engine and exhaust manifold. Hydro lift exhaust. Raw water vented loop with the vent brought outside for tell-tail and safety purposes. Built in Halon fire extinguisher in engine compartment.
Charging System:
Balmar 100 amp alternator with shunt 100 amp meter. Electric battery charger. New 40 amp three stage West Marine. Ferris 15 amp wind charger with overspeed brake (unit is currently not installed but goes with the boat).
Transmission:
Paragon with approximately 2.5/1 reduction. Transmission oil cooler. Drive saver on shaft coupling. SS 1.25" shaft with bonding brush and two carrier bearings + stern bearing. Shaft packing is the standard type.
Propeller:
Left hand 19 x 17 three blade. Spare prop on board.
Ground Tackle:
Two Bruce anchors. One 16# and one 32#. The smaller has 16' of 1/4" chain and 200' of 1/2" rode. The larger has 40' of 5/16" chain and 200' of 5/8"rode. There is a new Simpson Lawrence manual windlass with a gypsy to handle the 5/16" chain.
Tankage:
Fuel:
Two fiberglass fuel tanks of approximately 28 gallons each. Each tank is fitted with a metal dipstick for fuel measurement. Each tank is also fitted with a fuel gauge sending unit.
Water:
Two polyethylene tanks. Approximately 50 gallons capacity combined.
Batteries:
Four 6V golf cart batteries arranged as two banks of 12V each. Master battery seletor switch and voltmeter.
Bilge Pumps:
Two automatic eletrical and one manual
Water System:
Shure flow pump. New stainless steel 6 gallon water heater with 110v and engine heat exhanger. New faucet at galley sink. Faucet and shower in head. Manual emergency pump at galley sink.
Sleeps:
Four people. Two in forward vee berths and two on convertable dinette.
Steering:
Dual station, one in pilot house and other on flying bridge. New hydraulic steering system.
Engine Controls:
Dual station, one in pilot house an other on flying bridge. engine can only be started and stopped from pilot house control station.
Shore Power:
One 30 amp 110 V connection with master CB and polarity indicator. Seperate 110v CB panel. Many 110v outlets throughout the boat.
Twelve Volt System:
All lights and accessories are 12v. There is a 12v CB panel.
Air Conditioning:
New 12000 btu marine air conditioner.
Cooking:
Galley has three burner propane stove with oven. Propane in two five pound tanks on the flying bridge. Galley controlled gas shutoff solenoid.
Rerfigeration:
Top loading with Adler Barbour Cold Machine. Three ice cube trays. Works off of 12V.
Electronics:
VHF Radio:
Two each, one at each control station. One antenna on mast and other mounted on deck on top of an extension.
Dept Sounder:
Two each digital, one at each control station.
Speed Log:
Digital speed log at lower station.
Stereo:
Jensen FM/AM stereo with four speakers and CD player.
GPS:
Single GPS
TV Antenna:
12V amplified TV antenna.
Weather Station:
Davis Weather Monitor II weather station.
Telephone:
Boat is wired for two phones and cable TV
Bonding:
All through hulls and large metal objects are bonded together. Including mast stays. Zincs on shaft and Bronze skeg.
Compass:
Three each. One mounted at each control station and one in forward cabin for use as a tell-tail.
Mast:
Wood folding. Bridge clearance with mast up is about 21.5 feet. Mast carries steadying sail, vhf antenna, steaming light, anchor light, FM antenna, TV antenna, and sensors for weather station. Stays are SS wire cable.
Head:
Raritan manual head with 18 gallon holding tank. Holding tank is heavy polyethylene with tank monitor. Deck pumpout. Y-valve and eletric macerator pump for pumpout for offshore use.
Ventalation:
Electric exhaust blower in head. Two solar powered 4" vents, one in forward cabin and one if aft cabin. Forward pushes air in while aft draws air out. Fresh air intake for engine compartment.
